Hadith 4:867
Husayn ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: I asked Hisham ibn Hassan, "What did al-Hasan use to say when he saw the crescent moon?" He said: He used to say, "O Allah, make it a month of blessing, light, reward, and well-being. O Allah, You are the Distributor of good among Your servants in it, so distribute for us in it from the good just as You have distributed in it among Your righteous servants."
حدثنا حسين بن علي قال سألت هشام بن حسان أي شيء كان الحسن يقول إذا رأى الهلال قال كان يقول اللهم اجعله شهر بركة ونور وأجر ومعافاة اللهم أنك قاسم بين عبادك فيه خيرا فاقسم لنا فيه من خير كما قسمت فيه بين عبادك الصالحين
