Hadith 4:868
Husayn ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: I asked Ibn Jurayj, so he mentioned from Ata’ that a man sighted a crescent moon from the earth. He said: He heard a speaker saying, "O Allah, bring it upon us with security, faith, safety, Islam, guidance, forgiveness, and success for what You are pleased with, and protection from what You are displeased with. My Lord and your Lord is Allah." He said: So he kept repeating them until he memorized them, and he did not see anyone.
حدثنا حسين بن علي قال سألت بن جريج فذكر عن عطاء أن رجلا أهل هلالا من الأرض قال فسمع قائلا يقول اللهم أهله علينا بالأمن والإيمان والسلامة والإسلام والهدى والمغفرة والتوفيق لما ترضى والحفظ مما تسخط ربي وربك الله قال فلم يزل يتلقنهن حتى حفظهن وما رأى أحدا
