Hadith 4:896
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn ‘Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, he said: I asked ‘Aishah about the fasting of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. She said: "He used to fast until we would say he does not break his fast, and he would break his fast until we would say he does not fast. And I did not see him fast more in any month than in Sha’ban. And in Sha’ban, he used to fast Sha’ban except for a little; rather, he used to fast all of it."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال حدثنا محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة قال سألت عائشة عن صيام رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقالت كان يصوم حتى نقول لا يفطر ويفطر حتى نقول لا يصوم ولم أره في شهر أكثر صياما من شعبان وفي شعبان كان يصوم شعبان إلا قليلا بل كان يصوم كله
