Hadith 4:930
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ‘Asim, from Hafsa bint Sirin, from her uncle Salman bin ‘Amir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When one of you breaks his fast, let him break it with dates, for if he does not find any, let him break it with water, for it is purifying."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن فضيل عن عاصم عن حفصة بنت سيرين عن عمها سلمان بن عامر قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا أفطر أحدكم فليفطر على تمر فإن لم يجد فليفطر على ماء فإنه طهور
