Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Abu al-Harith al-Taymi, from Abu Majid al-Hanafi, who said: I was sitting with Abdullah, and he began to narrate to us that the first person to have his hand cut off in Islam, or among the Muslims, was a man from the Ansar.
