Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 34:141

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Zabyan, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The first thing Allah created was the Pen, then He created the Nun (the inkpot/the whale).
