Yahya ibn Abd al-Malik ibn Abi Ghaniyah narrated to us, from his father, from al-Hakam, from some of his companions, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The first thing Allah created was the Pen, then the Nun was created for it, and it is the inkwell.
