Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 34:177

Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Isa ibn al-Mukhtar, from Muhammad ibn Abi Layla, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: We remained in Medina for two years before the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, arrived to us, building mosques and establishing prayer.
