Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 34:271

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ‘Ata’, from Sa‘id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: The first thing Allah created was the Pen. Then He created the *Nun* (the whale), and He pressed the earth upon the back of the *Nun*.
