Abu Usama narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, he said: Wasil al-Ahdab informed me, he said: 'A'idha, a woman from Banu Asad—and he praised her—narrated to me, she said: I heard Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, while he was stepping over the men and women—meaning he was stepping across them—saying: "O people, whoever among you reaches a woman or a man, then [keep to] the first path, the first path. For I am today upon the Fitra."
