Hadith 34:313
Ibn al-Washa narrated to us, Abu Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Muslim ibn Ziyad, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn al-Durays narrated to me, Amr narrated to us, from Jabir, from Zadhan, from Salman, he said: The Good, the Blessed one narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "The first thing the believer is given glad tidings of is a spirit, a sweet scent, and a Garden of Bliss. And indeed, the first thing the believer is given glad tidings of is that it is said to him: 'Rejoice, O ally of Allah! You have arrived at the best arrival. May Allah forgive those who accompanied your funeral procession.'" The Sheikh, Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Abu Abd Allah, said: "No one narrated this hadith except this single Sheikh." [And it is said]: "And may Allah answer those who sought forgiveness for you, and accept from those who testified for you."
