Hadith 34:34
Jarir narrated to us, from ‘Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, from al-Hasan, who said: A man was promised [a reward of] awaqi [of silver] on the condition that he kill the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Allah informed him of that, so he ordered [that the man be dealt with], and he was crucified. He was the first person to be crucified in Islam.
حدثنا جرير عن عطاء بن السائب عن الحسن قال جعل لرجل أواقي على أن يقتل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فأطلعه الله على ذلك فأمر به فصلب وكان أول من صلب في الإسلام
