Hadith 34:40
Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ash’ath, from Ibn Sirin, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave a grandmother a sixth along with her son. And she was the first grandmother to inherit in Islam.
حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أشعث عن بن سيرين أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أطعم جدة مع ابنها السدس وكانت أول جدة ورثت في الإسلام
