Hadith 34:70
Abu Usama narrated to us, Awf narrated to us, he said: It was said to Al-Hasan, "Who was the first to emancipate the mothers of children (umm al-walad)?" He said, "Umar." I said, "Does he enslave them if they commit adultery?" He said, "By Allah, no."
