Hadith 6:104
'Abbad ibn al-'Awwam narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib and al-Hasan: They both said: The deceased is washed three washings, or three times: once with water and lote-tree leaves (sidr), once with plain water, and once with water and camphor.
