Hadith 6:1069
11868. Marwan bin Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Ibn 'Awn, from 'Imran, who said: I asked Ibrahim. He said: I asked Ibrahim al-Nakha'i about a person who killed himself: Should [the funeral] prayer be performed over him? He said: Yes, for the prayer is only a Sunnah.
