Hadith 6:107

Abdullah ibn Idris narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from Ibrahim, who said: The deceased is to be given wudu like his wudu for prayer, except for his feet. Then water is poured starting from his head, and his stomach is wiped; if anything comes out, it is washed away. Then he continues until, when you think he has dried or is close to it, he is washed a second and third time, and his garments are perfumed with incense three times.

حدثنا عبد الله بن إدريس عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم قال يوضأ الميت وضوءه للصلاة إلا رجليه ثم يصب الماء من قبل رأسه ويمسح بطنه فإن كان شيء خرج ثم ينزل حتى إذا قلت جف أو كان ( ( ( كاد ) ) ) غسل الثانية والثالثة ويجمر ثيابه ثلاثا
