Hadith 6:1093
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from Abu Ishaq, that Ali, when he would pray over funerals of men and women, would place the men on the side closest to him and the women on the side closest to the Qibla. And when he buried them, he would place the man in front and the women behind.
حدثنا بن نمير عن أشعث عن أبي إسحاق أن عليا كان إذا صلى على جنائز رجال ونساء جعل الرجال مما يلونه والنساء مما يلي القبلة وإذا دفنهم قدم الرجل وأخر النساء
