Hadith 6:112
Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, he said: Ibn 'Awn narrated to us, from Ayyub al-Sakhtiyani, who said: When Abu Qilabah would wash the deceased, he would order lotus leaves (sidr) to be strained in a cloth. He would then wash [the deceased] with the strained liquid and discard the residue.
حدثنا معاذ بن معاذ قال حدثنا بن عون عن أيوب السختياني قال كان أبو قلابة إذا غسل الميت أمر بالسدر فصفي في ثوب فغسل بصفوه ورمى بثفله
