Hadith 6:1145
Sa'id ibn Yahya narrated to us, from Sufyan ibn Husayn, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Umamah ibn Sahl, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to visit the poor of the people of Medina and attend their funerals when they died. He said: A woman from the people of al-'Awali died, so we buried her. He said: Then the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) walked to her grave and prayed over her, and he said the takbir four times.
حدثنا سعيد بن يحيى عن سفيان بن حسين عن الزهري عن أبي أمامة بن سهل عن أبيه قال كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يعود فقراء أهل المدينة ويشهد جنائزهم إذا ماتوا قال فتوفيت امرأة من أهل العوالي فدفناها قال فمشى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى قبرها فصلى عليها فكبر أربعا
