Hadith 6:1175
Waki’ narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Dhi’b, from Salih, the freed slave of al-Taw’amah, from those who reached Abu Bakr and ‘Umar, that when the prayer area became constricted for them, they would depart and not pray over the funeral in the mosque.
حدثنا وكيع عن بن أبي ذئب عن صالح مولى التؤمة ( ( ( التوأمة ) ) ) عمن أدرك أبا بكر وعمر أنهم ( ( ( أنهما ) ) ) كانوا إذا تضاءق ( ( ( تضايق ) ) ) بهم المصلى انصرفوا ولم يصلوا على الجنازة في المسجد
