Hadith 6:1183
Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, from Nafi’, who said: Ibn ‘Umar was in the marketplace when the death of Wa’il ibn Hujr was announced to him. He loosened his garment (which was tied around his legs while sitting), stood up, and was overcome by sobbing.
حدثنا بن علية عن بن عون عن نافع قال كان بن عمر في السوق فنعي إليه وائل بن حجر فأطلق حبوته وقام وغلبه النحيب ( ( ( الخيب ) ) )
