Hadith 6:1186
Waki' ibn al-Jarrah narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ziyad ibn 'Alaqah, from al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade reviling the dead.
