Hadith 6:1193
Waki’ narrated to us, from Mahdi, from a man who is called Isma’il al-Jahdari, who said: We went out for a funeral, and al-Hasan attended it. He saw a group of people crowding around the bier (sarir). Al-Hasan said: "What is the matter with these people? I truly think that Satan has become exhausted by the people, so he followed them in order to nullify their rewards."
حدثنا وكيع عن مهدي عن رجل يقال له إسماعيل الجحدري قال خرجنا في جنازة فشهدها الحسن قال فرأى قوما ازدحموا على السرير فقال الحسن ما شأن هؤلاء إني لأظن الشيطان حسر من الناس فاتبعهم ليحبط أجورهم
