Hadith 6:1213
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from Alqama, that he entered upon a friend of his from the Nakha' tribe to visit him. He wiped his forehead and found it perspiring, so he laughed. Some of the people said to him, "What makes you laugh, O Abu Shibl?" He said, "I laughed at the saying of Abdullah: 'Indeed, the soul of the believer exits [the body] as perspiration, and it may be that he had committed a bad deed, so it is made severe for him at the time of death so that he may be [purified] by it. And indeed, the soul of the disbeliever and the wicked person exits from his corner of the mouth just as the soul of a donkey exits, and it may be that he had committed a good deed, so it is made easy for him at the time of death so that he may be [rewarded] by it.'"
