Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 6:1240

Waki’ narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Hasana, who said: I and ‘Amr ibn al-‘As were sitting, and the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) came out to us, and with him was a leaf or something similar to it. He screened himself with it, then he urinated while sitting. We said: "O Messenger of Allah, just as a woman urinates?" He came to us and said: "Do you not know what happened to a man from the Children of Israel? When urine would touch any part of a man among them, he would cut it off with scissors. He forbade them from that, so he was punished in his grave."
