Hadith 6:1251
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, from Nabih, who said: I heard Abu Sa'id say: There is no funeral procession except that it implores those carrying it. If it is a believer and Allah is pleased with it, it says: "Hasten me, hasten me." And if it is a disbeliever and Allah is displeased with it, it says: "Return me, return me." Everything hears it except for the two heavy ones (mankind and jinn). And if a human were to hear it, he would panic and be terrified.
حدثنا بن نمير حدثنا ( ( ( ثنا ) ) ) شعبة عن الأسود بن قيس عن نبيح قال سمعت أبا سعيد يقول ما من جنازة إلا تناشد حملتها إن كانت مؤمنة والله عنها راض قالت اسرعوا بي وإن كانت كافرة والله عنها ساخط قالت ردوني فما شيء إلا يسمعه إلا الثقلين ولو سمعه الإنسان جزع وفزع
