Hadith 6:1262
Hussain bin Ali narrated to us, from Za'idah, from Asim, from Shaqiq, from Abu Musa, who said: The soul of the believer emerges, and it is of a better scent than musk. He said: So the angels who take it [in death] ascend with it. They are met by angels below the heaven, who say: "Who is this with you?" They reply: "So-and-so, son of so-and-so," and they mention him by his best deeds. They say: "May Allah greet you, and may He greet those who are with you." He said: Then the gates of heaven are opened for him. He said: His face shines. He said: He comes to the Lord, and his face has a radiance like the sun. He said: As for the other, his soul emerges, and it is more foul-smelling than a carcass. Those who take it [in death] ascend with it. He said: The angels meet them below the heaven and say: "Who is this with you?" They reply: "This is so-and-so," and they mention him by his worst deeds. They say: "Return him, for Allah does not wrong them in anything." And Abu Musa recited: "And they will not enter Paradise until the camel enters into the eye of the needle."
