Hadith 6:1278
Ja'far ibn 'Awn narrated to us, from Hisham ibn 'Urwah, from his father, from 'Aishah, who said: A man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "My mother died suddenly, and if she had been able to speak, she would have given charity. So, is there a reward for her if I give charity on her behalf?" He said: "Yes."
حدثنا جعفر بن عون عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن عائشة قالت جاء رجل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال ان أمي افتتلت ( ( ( افتلتت ) ) ) نفسها وأنها لو تكلمت تصدقت فهل لها من أجر ان تصدقت عنها قال نعم
