Hadith 6:1289
Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, from al-Hasan ibn Salih, from Abdullah ibn Ata, from Abu Ja’far, that al-Hasan and al-Husayn used to manumit [slaves] on behalf of Ali after his death.
