Hadith 6:1296
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah informed us, from Abu al-Tayyah, from Anas, that the mosque of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) belonged to the Banu al-Najjar. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to them, "Set a price for it for me." They said, "We do not seek a price for it except from Allah." There were in it graves from the graves of the polytheists, palm trees, and cultivated land. He ordered the cultivated land, so it was leveled; and the palm trees, so they were cut down; and the graves, so they were dug up.
