Hadith 6:1299
Waki’ narrated to us, Sa’id bin ‘Ubayd and Muhammad bin Qays al-Asadi narrated to us, they said: We heard from ‘Ali bin Rabi’ah al-Walibi, who said: The first person over whom wailing was performed in Kufa was Qurzah bin Ka’b al-Ansari. Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah stood up and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: "Whoever is wailed over, he is punished in his grave for what was wailed over him."
حدثنا وكيع ثنا سعيد بن عبيد ومحمد بن قيس الأسدي قال سمعنا من علي بن ربيعة الوالبي قال أول من نيح عليه بالكوفة قرظة بن كعب الأنصاري فقام المغيرة بن شعبة فقال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول من نيح عليه فأنه يعذب في قبره بما نيح عليه
