Hadith 6:1301
Abu Mu’awiyah narrated to us, from ‘Asim, from Hafsa, from Umm ‘Atiyyah, who said: When [the verse] was revealed: "O Prophet, when the believing women come to you pledging to you..." up to His saying: "...and will not disobey you in what is right," she said: "Among them was wailing." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, except for the family of so-and-so, for they had assisted me in the pre-Islamic period." He said: "No, not the family of so-and-so."
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن عاصم عن حفصة عن أم عطية قالت لما نزلت @QB@ إذا جاءك المؤمنات يبايعنك ( ( ( يباي ) ) ) @QE@ إلى قوله @QB@ ولا يعصينك في معروف @QE@ قالت كانت منه النياحة ( ( ( النوح ) ) ) فقلت يا رسول الله إلا آل بني فلان فإنهم كانوا قد أسعدوني في الجاهلية فقال لا آل بني فلان
