Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 6:1317

Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, who said: I heard 'Abdullah ibn Subayh, who said: I heard Muhammad ibn Sirin say: They mentioned wailing in the presence of 'Imran ibn al-Husayn, and he said: "Indeed, the deceased is punished by the weeping of the living." They said: "And how is he punished by the weeping of the living?" He said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, has said it."
