Hadith 6:1319
Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from his father, from ‘Ubayd ibn ‘Umayr, who said: Umm Salamah said: When Abu Salamah died, I said: "A stranger, and in a land of strangeness; I will surely weep for him with a weeping that will be spoken of." So I had prepared myself to weep, when a woman from the Upper Egypt (al-Sa‘id) approached, wanting to assist me in my weeping. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) met her and said: "Do you wish to bring the devil into a house from which Allah has expelled him twice?" She said: So I refrained from weeping, and I did not weep.
حدثنا بن عيينة عن بن أبي نجيح عن أبيه عن عبيد بن عمير قال قالت أم سلمة لما مات أبو سلمة قلت غريب وفي أرض غربة لأبكينه بكاء يتحدث عنه فكنت قد تهيأت للبكاء إذ أقبلت امرأة من الصعيد تريد أن تسعدني فاستقبلها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال تريدين أن تدخلي الشيطان بيتا أخرجه الله منه مرتين قالت فسكت عن البكاء فلم أبك
