Hadith 6:1324
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from 'Asim, from Abu 'Uthman, from Usamah ibn Zayd, who said: The eye of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) shed tears when the daughter of Zaynab was brought to him, and her soul was rattling as if she were in a water skin. He said: So he wept. A man said to him: "Do you weep, while you have forbidden weeping?" He said: "This is only a mercy which Allah has placed in the hearts of His servants, and Allah only shows mercy to those of His servants who are merciful."
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن عاصم عن أبي عثمان عن أسامة بن زيد قال دمعت عين رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حين أتي بابنة زينب ونفسها تقعقع كأنها في شن قال فبكى قال فقال له رجل تبكي وقد نهيت عن البكاء فقال إنما هذه رحمة جعلها الله في قلوب عباده وإنما يرحم الله من عباده الرحماء
