Hadith 6:1329
Al-Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Zayd, who said: 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib narrated to me, 'Ikrimah narrated, he said: Ibn 'Abbas used to say: "Memorize this hadith: One of the daughters of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was at the point of death. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, placed her on his hands and placed her head on his chest, and she was gasping until she passed away. He placed her down while he was weeping. Umm Ayman cried out, so the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'Do I not see you weeping in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?' She said: 'And should I not see the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, weeping?' He said: 'I did not weep, but it is mercy.'"
حدثنا الحسن بن موسى عن سعيد بن زيد قال حدثني عطاء ( ( ( عطاؤ ) ) ) بن السائب ثنا عكرمة قال كان بن عباس يقول احفظوا هذا الحديث ان احدى بنات النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كانت في الموت فوضعها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على يديه ووضع رأسها على ثدييه وهي تسوف ( ( ( تسوق ) ) ) حتى قبضت فوضعها وهو يبكي قال فصاحت أم ايمن فقال النبي صلى ( ( ( أ ) ) ) الله عليه وسلم أولا أراك تبكين ( ( ( تبكي ) ) ) عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قالت ولا أرى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يبكي قال إني لم أبك ولكنها رحمة
