Hadith 6:208
Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from al-Hasan, Hammad, and al-Hakam, from Ibrahim, who said: If he dies in the battle, he is buried, and what was upon him of leather socks or sandals is removed. And if he is lifted while he still has a remnant of life, then he dies, he is treated as one who is treated as a dead person.
حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن أشعث عن الحسن وحماد والحكم عن إبراهيم قال إذا مات في المعركة دفن ونزع ما كان عليه من خف أو نعل وإذا رفع وبه رمق ثم مات يصنع به ما يصنع بالميت
