Hadith 6:231
Waki’ narrated to us, from Hassan bin Ibrahim, from Umayyah al-Azdi, from Jabir bin Zayd, who said: When the deceased is shrouded, his orifices and his hearing passages are to be plugged with flax (tow).
حدثنا وكيع عن حسان بن إبراهيم عن أمية الأزدي عن جابر بن زيد قال إذا حشى على الميت سد مراقه ومسامعه بالمشاق
