Hadith 6:237
Humaid ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Hasan, from Harun ibn Sa'id, from Abu Wa'il, that Ali bequeathed that musk be placed in his embalming substance (hanut). And he said: "It is the remainder of the embalming substance of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
حدثنا حميد بن عبد الرحمن عن حسن عن هارون بن سعيد عن أبي وائل أن عليا أوصى أن يجعل في حنوطه مسك وقال هو فضل حنوط النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
