Hadith 6:263
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Hisham, from his father, that Safiyyah went on the day of Uhud with two garments, wanting to shroud Hamzah ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib in them. He said: One of the two garments was wider than the other. He said: She found a man from the Ansar beside him, so she drew lots between them. She shrouded the winner of the lot in the wider of the two garments, and the other in the remaining garment.
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن هشام عن أبيه أن صفية ذهبت يوم أحد بثوبين تريد أن تكفن ( ( ( يكفن ) ) ) فيهما حمزة بن عبد المطلب قال وأحد الثوبين أوسع من الآخر قال فوجدت إلى جنبه رجلا من الأنصار فأقرعت بينهما فكفنت القارع أوسع الثوبين والآخر في الثوب الباقي
