Hadith 6:287
Humaid ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Hasan, from Isa ibn Abi Izzah, from al-Sha’bi, who said: The woman is shrouded in five garments: a chemise (dir’), a head covering (khimar), a wrapper (lifafah), a waist-wrapper (mintaq), and a piece of cloth that is placed over her abdomen.
حدثنا حميد بن عبد الرحمن عن حسن عن عيسى بن أبي عزة عن الشعبي قال تكفن المرأة في خمسة أثواب في درع وخمار ولفافة ومنطق وخرقة تكون على بطنها ( ( ( قطنها ) ) )
