Hadith 6:368
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, who said: When there was a funeral of a woman, they would turn the bier upside down and keep it apart from her with its legs. And when it was a man, he was placed on the belly of the bier.
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم قال كانوا إذا كانت جنازة امراة اكفوا السرير فجافوا عنها بقوائمه وإذا كان رجل وضع على بطن السرير
