Hadith 6:407
Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Hamza, from Ibrahim, from Alqama, from Abdullah, who said: "Al-Na'i (the formal announcement of death) is from the affairs of the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic era)."
