Hadith 6:411
Waki’ narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Husayn, from ‘Ali ibn Mudrik, from Ibrahim, from ‘Alqama: That he left a will saying: "Do not inform anyone [of my death], for I fear that the announcement of death (al-na’i) is from the affairs of the Jahiliyyah."
حدثنا وكيع عن محمد بن حصين عن علي بن مدرك عن إبراهيم عن علقمة أنه أوصى أن لا تؤذنوا أحدا فإني أخاف أن يكون النعي من أمر الجاهلية
