Hadith 6:45
Waki' narrated to us, from Salamah ibn Wardan, who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik saying: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to his companions: "Who among you has attended a funeral?" Umar said: "I." He said: "Who has given charity?" Umar said: "I." He said: "Who among you has woken up fasting?" Umar said: "I." The Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "It has become obligatory, it has become obligatory."
حدثنا وكيع عن سلمة بن وردان قال سمعت أنس بن مالك يقول قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لأصحابه من شهد منكم جنازة قال عمر أنا قال من تصدق قال عمر أنا قال من أصبح منكم صائما قال عمر أنا قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وجبت وجبت
