Hadith 6:476
Ubayd Allah narrated to us, he said: Isra'il narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn al-Mukhtar, from Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah, he said: Abu Kurayb—or Abu Hurayb—narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Umar, that he informed him that his father gave him a testament. He said: "When you carry me upon the bier, walk with me at a pace between two paces, and be behind the funeral procession; for its front is for the angels, and its rear is for the children of Adam."
حدثنا عبيد الله قال حدثنا إسرائيل عن عبد الله بن المختار عن معاوية بن قرة قال أنا ( ( ( لنا ) ) ) أبو كريب أو أبو حريب عن عبد الله بن عمر أنه أخبره أن أباه أوصاه قال إذا أنت حملتني على السرير فامشي بي مشيا بين المشيين وكن خلف الجنازة فإن مقدمها للملائكة وخلفها لبني آدم
