Hadith 6:482
Jarir ibn Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ubayd ibn Bistam (Nastās), who said: We were with Abu Ubaydah ibn Abd Allah at a funeral. He said: Abd Allah said, "When one of you is at a funeral, let him carry all sides of the bier, for it is from the Sunnah for him to do so voluntarily, then let him leave it."
حدثنا جرير بن عبد الحميد عن منصور عن عبيد بن بسطام ( ( ( نسطاس ) ) ) قال كنا مع أبي عبيدة بن عبد الله في جنازة فقال قال عبد الله إذا كان أحدكم في جنازة فليحمل بجوانب السرير كله فإنه من السنة له ليتطوع ثم ليدع
