Hadith 6:494
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abdullah ibn Murrah, from Masruq, who said: I saw him throwing dust into the faces of the women at the funeral. He would say to them, "Go back." If they went back, he would proceed with the funeral; otherwise, he would turn back and leave it.
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن عبد الله بن مرة عن مسروق قال رأيته يحثو التراب في وجوه النساء في الجنازة يقول لهن أرجعن فإن رجعن مضى مع الجنازة وإلا رجع وتركها
