Hadith 6:504
Sahl ibn Yusuf narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, from Muhammad, who said: I learned that no one has more right to pray over someone than another, unless the deceased leaves a will. If the deceased does not leave a will, then the best of his family shall pray over him.
حدثنا سهل بن يوسف عن بن عون عن محمد قال علمت أن أحدا ليس أحق بالصلاة على أحد إلا أن يوصي الميت فإن لم يوص الميت صلى عليه أفضل أهل بيته
